两位赌徒在输光了他们的钱后，匆忙离开了纽约，他们决心前往赌城拉斯维加斯，以求扭转赌运。 在“默默无闻”27年之后，好莱坞女星安吉丽娜·朱莉6岁时首度出演的影片《寻找出口》将于2009年4月在美国萨拉索塔电影节上公开首映。 据悉，这部喜剧片由哈尔·阿什贝执导于1982年，当时年幼的朱莉初次登上大银幕，并和影星父亲强·沃特一起演出。不过，她在片中的戏份最终被剪掉，该片当年也只举办了小范围上映。 据报道，阿什贝在1988年对该片重新进行了剪辑。不过，曾参与编写该片的沃特对此并不知情，直到他两年前遇见了阿什贝传记的作者尼克·道森，并通过道森和艾希比的女儿丽见了面，他才了解到该片剪辑版的存在。丽还告诉沃伊特：“安吉丽娜·朱莉在片中饰演的角色很可能就是以我为原型。” 而今，沃特表示，很高兴该片将如好友阿什贝所愿公开上映，“这对我意义重大，我很喜欢这部影片”。除了亮相萨拉索塔电影节，该片的DVD于2009年6月20日发行。
